I’m growing more and more frustrated with social media in general. It feels like the signal to noise ratio is all out of whack and finding good content is getting harder and harder. This started going wrong long before the current AI bubble, but AI has only accelerated things like pouring petrol on a fire.
So rather than be part of the problem, I’ve been thinking of ways to be part of the solution. I already owned this domain and was using it to post about my talks and longer-form content about things I’ve done so why not tweak things so that I can easily write shorter pieces of content here.
This journal section is meant to be that, a simple replacement for social media. A place where I can quickly share posts, videos, links etc or just quick updates on things I’m working on. These are going to be closer to lab-note/journal entries or something like that.
There are even RSS feeds for each of the sections in case you want to subscribe to this content in your favourite feed reader.
