About Me
I’ve been paid to write software since before the 2000s.
I’m comfortable in multiple development environments and platforms and have worked on everything from big data distributed systems and large retail in-store and stock-take systems written in .NET to Linux kernel drivers and code running on 8-bit micro-controllers.
I’ve run my own company, worked for others, lead teams of developers and successfully delivered over 30 large projects.
I’m a frequent speaker at BSides Cape Town BSides Cape Town and DevConf ❤ .
While the majority of my skills are in C# and .NET, I’m tech-stack agnostic and will use whichever technologies the job or project may require.
I’m equally at home with a soldering iron and oscilloscope hacking hardware and reverse engineering things to make them do things they were never intended to do.
